GW:EN PvP Downfall?
Hi, Guild wars has the best PvP game in the world you know that. But GW:EN's newness generally targets PvE in your opinion will it atrophy GW's PvP?
thanks

i dont think so but it is supposed to be a PvE expansion
besides with a new condition and 100 new skills PvP gets something as well

Its not an issue for a wammo with mending touch or a warrior who has a competent monk on their team. And besides, theres alot of new warrior skills like body blow which really make good use of this condition.
Or you can go W/N with plague touch "straight back atcha jack!"

Cracked Armour condition is weird, since it's not something a character's body itself can suffer, like Bleeding, Deep Wound etc. It doesn't make any sense if you could restore it with a skill like Mending Touch, unless your character suddenly knows how to use Alchemy or something.

It's a condition. And therefore can be removed via mending touch, RC, purge, plague touch/sig, dismiss condition etc etc.

For the love of God, please change the thread title into something sensible! Having threads with these names is just plain annoying. - _-

in my opinion, its good to see something based on PVE after all the ATS fury. speaking of fury, if you prefer PVP, I'd suggest you play FURY

GW:EN will have the same affect that the other campaigns had when released...
not very much will change except for a new set of skills for pvp players to mess with...resulting in a new set of balances to suit pvp play...which will result in a new round of pve players complaining that they don't get paid attention to when skill balances are done.
I'll be happily playing GW:EN...dealing with any changes that come along the way. The new pve-only skills and pve/pvp skills just means it's less likely that the skills I'm using will get hit with the nerf bat.
cynical? nah...not at all :P

Best PVP? Thats arguable - I like DAOC's PVP better but to each his own.
